Am I a Star Wars fan? No, but my husband is. Somehow he's turned our son to the dark side as well. This is how Matthew told me what he wanted to be for Halloween:
Me:" Matthew, Halloween is coming up soon. What do you want to be?"
Matthew: "That black man!!"
Me:"umm, huh?"
Matthew: "That black man!!"
Me: (puzzled look of complete confusion)
Matthew: "Mama!! The black man!! You know, from Star Wars!"
Me: "Oh! (thank you Jesus), You mean Darth Vader?"
Matthew: "Yeah. That's what I said! Silly mama!"
And so. That's how our family became the Star Wars family for Halloween.
