Little footprints

Top picture- the cutest little feet I've ever had inside my belly! (ok, the only little feet I've had inside my belly!!) Aren't they so adorable?? He was moving them all over the place before she got the picture.

Bottom picture- Look closely folks. Towards the middle, above the long white line (femur bone) is a little arrow pointing to my boys wee-wee!! :-)

These pictures were taken yesterday at my ultrasound appointment. I wish I had a good full body shot to show you, but they didn't do one. They did another terminator face shot, but his hand was in front of his face and it is blurry and really, it doesn't actually look like a face. I should start an I Spy game with these pictures and hand out prizes for those who can actually identify the parts. Should. But won't.

Regular OB appointment today was not great, but not terrible. You would have thought the world was falling apart as my lack of sleep last night coupled with pregnancy hormones got me all worked up after the appointment. But really, all you need to know is they are now following me even more closely and I have a list of symptoms that I have to take seriously (some of which I already have). There were a whole slew of worst case scenerios presented to me today that weren't pretty, but that I needed to know the reality of. Me and baby are just fine. With much care and prayers and well wishes, we plan on staying just so.

I got the adorable froggy bedding that I got for a deal on ebay this week and I can't wait to get the nursery put together! It's going to be sweet and peaceful and hopefully fun for our little man...who still remains nameless. :-) Hey, we're working on it. One thing at a time.

Off to relax this evening! :-)

Just do it.

Today I treated myself to a "pregnancy massage". Let's not be fooled, it's really just a regular massage with a special set up to allow you to lay face down on your belly. It was HEAVEN! I was so relaxed afterwards that I took a 2 1/2 hour nap. While naps may mess up my sleep, any 2 1/2 hours that I can get, I will take! I still sort of feel like a bowl of jello who doesn't want to move! I think I will continue to save my pennies so I can treat myself to another in a month.

If you are pregnant, or hey, even if you're not...DO it. Get a massage. It does a body good. :-)

Finally some progress!

Well, my husband is awesome. He spent the weekend getting the baby room cleared out. Up until this point it has been our workout room, and there was a lot of heavy equipment to move down to the garage. And he doesn't do anything without doing it well, so he first had to re-organzie the garage. This included painting one wall and getting a carpet to go in there under the gym stuff. Half the garage is now our gym, and honestly, it looks really good. He even put the TV and stereo down there, and left a nice space for my yoga mat (now I just have to actually DO yoga, and we'll be all set!) Anyway, the baby room is a blank slate now and ready to be painted and filled with baby stuff!

We also attended a baby shower for all the expecting mom's at my doctors office on Saturday. It was interesting....I'll leave it at that. :-) I was the big winner of the day and scored a $10 off coupon at Babies r Us, as well as a Diaper Genie and a pack of newborn diapers. Check that off the list of things to buy! I have been the ebay queen lately, looking for bargains online. I have only bought one thing thus far, but it was $60 cheaper brand new on ebay than in the stores- that works for me just fine.

And finally, just today, I am positive I feel this kid moving. It has been a long time coming, as until now I've only "thought" I felt something every now and then, and we have a lazy child. But today, I felt what really felt like "something moving inside me" and he was partying for quite a while. I think he's finally waking up.

That's all for me. Hope everyone had a fabulous weekend!
