We opted not to do a big party for Caleb's birthday. My parents were here visiting because they wanted to be here to help him celebrate, then we just had 2 families/friends of ours over for dinner and cake.
I didn't even order a cake, so last minute I made this for his own personal smash cake:
And this for everyone else. There were also cupcakes made with the leftover cake batter.
