Matthew is FOUR!!

Yes, that's right.  I'm about 3 weeks late posting that my baby is a FOUR year old!!!  I cannot believe it's been 4 years since he was born.  What an amazing 4 years it's been.  He is such a sweet and kind boy who likes to make me laugh.

Matthew requested a robot party- and robot party we had!!  What was going to just be a few little things, turned into me crafting up a storm.  Everything turned out really cute and he was happy to have some friends over to celebrate with him.

Here are some pictures from the big day!

The robot Daddy had way too much fun constructing.

Birthday banner *I* spent way too much time making!

Each kid's spot had a robot (made from soup cans and odds and end from the garage, foil hair) with a robot lollipop stuck in it.

There were crafts...

There were games...

There were robot juice boxes.

Caleb showed his robot support.

3 Months Old!

 Oh my God.
His little old man receding hairline kills me.  KILLS me I tell ya.

And P.S.  His smile kills me also.

Cannot express how I feel about these pics.  About this boy.  Just can't.  I'm not eloquent enough.

Just.......ahhhhh.  I am so happy.

My sweet boy

Caleb.  Oh Caleb.
Despite my lack of blogging, trust me when I tell you, I love you so so much.
You are such an absolute joy in my life.  You are a happy baby- so giggly and fun.  You love to play and laugh with me, especially after you're done nursing. You just stare up at me with this amazing grin and my heart melts. You are starting to really love your activity mat on the floor. You swipe at the animals with your hands and try to catch them.  You're not quite coordinated enough yet to grasp them, but every now and then, by happy coincidence, you do get one and you love it. Your face lights up when Daddy comes near you.  Pretty much you always have smiles for him.  You are living the life of second child- always on the go with us, going to bring Matthew to and from school, grocery shopping with mama.  You are learning to go with the flow, though sometimes it really messes up your naps.  You are sleeping very well at night.  Some nights you still wake up around 1 am for some milk, and other nights you sleep straight through until 4 or 5 am, eat, then go back to sleep until 8:30 or so.  You love bath time--after bath, not so much.  You have hated being swaddled since you were 3 weeks old or so.  You just fought and fought it, so we go without.  You're not a fan of your crib- you sleep in the Rock N Play next to me in my room for nights and if you nap, you're in the swing in the living room (where you are right now).

It's true I've always wondered how this would work when a second baby got here.  I have this huge gigantic love for Matthew and it was hard to imagine feeling that for another. But, it just IS.  There is love.  There is room for more than one in my heart and soul.  Clearly my heart has doubled in size or some such, because I have huge gigantic love for Caleb too.  I am one lucky lady, that much is for sure.

I have joy.  I have love.  I have it all I tell you.
