Our Adventure

Yesterday we ventured out to some outlet shopping, since I had a few coupons to use and Matthews needs some warmer clothes. It's starting to get a bit chilly here, so probably about time to pack up the summer clothes. I had an absolute ball shopping Carter's and Osh Kosh, and the coupons made it so much better. Needless to say, he'll be sporting some cute outfits this fall/winter!

On the way back we stopped at the beautiful Multnomah Falls. It was a great day to be outdoors! Matthew, Mom and me walked up about 1/2 mile, and my dad walked all the way to the top of the falls! Lots of good photo ops, hence the above pictures. Since we live in the middle of nowhere our day did consist of 6 hours in the car, and overall, Matthew was pretty darn good. He was clearly SO over being in that carseat for the last hour or so coming home, but really, who wouldn't be? We apparently tired him out....little man slept from 8:30 PM - 7:15 AM, without waking. ALL NIGHT IN HIS BIG BOY CRIB in his own bedroom!!!! Hoorah for that! I don't care if it was a fluke (ahem...the night before he was up at 1:30), it was glorious to be in bed that long. (we did have to check to make sure he was still breathing a few times) :-)
